PRICES INCLUDE
CONDITIONS
1. TAKING AND RETURNING OF THE VEHICLE
1.1. The lessee must be 21 years of age, have a minimum driving experience of 3 years and present a valid driving license, blue card, ID card or passport. For tenants between 18 and 21 years and/or less than 3 years of service, a fee applies.
1.2. The minimum rental period for calculating the price is 24 hours. The car is handed over to the lessee with the mandatory equipment required by the Road Traffic Act and its implementing regulations, as reflected in a bilaterally signed handover protocol. The lessee is obliged to return the car with all documents, keys and equipment delivered to it within the agreed time and place in the condition in which it was received.
1.3. In case of non-compliance with the deadline for returning the car by the lessee, he is obliged to notify the lessor no later than 24 hours before the expiration of the contract. The lessee can continue to use the car in case he/she has received explicit permission from the lessor. In case the lessee does not fulfill the requirement to return the car within the period stipulated by the contract and continues to use it without the consent of the lessor, he shall bear full criminal and pecuniary responsibility for the possession of the car. For each additional day, the lessee is charged as follows: up to 4 hours - one rental day; over 4-8 hours - two rental days, over 8 hours - 3 rental days.
1.4. In case of non-fulfillment of the obligation to return the rented car by the lessee for more than two hours from the expiry of the agreed term, without notifying the lessor, the car shall be considered appropriated and the lessor shall inform the competent authorities, while retaining all rights under this contract, as well as the ability to personally or through a representative to regain ownership of the car from the lessee, which will not be considered as self-government. The rent is calculated on the basis of: 1 day = 24 hours from the rental time. For a delay of more than 2 (two) hours from the time of handing over / receiving the car, an additional rental day will be charged.
2. PRICES AND PAYMENT METHODS
2.1. The rental price of the car is included:
2.3. When a client decides to return the rented vehicle before the appointed date and time by contract, he or she must inform the owner about that at least 48 hours prior to returning and can receive back 30 % of the daily rate on the unused days left by contract. When the client does not inform the owner about that the last one can keep the whole sum for the unused days left by contract. There is no refund in the months of June, July and August.
50% of the rent is refunded upon a paid request and non-appearance of a client, for the months of June, July and August, amounts for unused contract days will not be returned.
2.4. The renting price does not include any fuel, the car is to be accepted with a full petrol tank and is expected to be returned with full reservoir as well. If a client returns the vehicle with a petrol tank different of full, he or she must pay the difference to full reservoir calculated by the owner 2.00 euro per liter + 10 euro service tax.
2.5 In cases when client wants to rent the vehicle for traveling outside the territory of Bulgaria there are additional conditions that must be applied - shown in separate appendix. Upon departure abroad, a double deposit is payable, as well as the corresponding fees for preparing documents.
3.DAMAGE, LOSSES AND THEFT
3.1 If a fuel is missing, losses or other small damages caused by negligence from the client occur, the deposit is being charged.
3.2 Smoking in the vehicles is absolutely forbidden. Violators are charged 100 euro tax.
3.3. In the event of any road accident, the lessee is obliged to immediately notify the landlord and the competent authorities. Whether or not the lessee is guilty, he or she must wait for the law enforcement authorities and obtain a record or a record of the incident. In the event of an accident, the lessee is obliged to provide the lessor with all issued traffic police documents, certifying the event. In the case of failure to provide, as well as proven fault for the incident, the lessee is responsible and pays the full amount of the damages, as well as the equivalence of the daily rent of the car, for the number of days required until the full recovery of the vehicle, as well as any indirect costs incurred. as a result of the same incident.
3.4. In the case of a car accident abroad no matter whose fault it is, the lessee is obliged to transport the rented motor vehicle to the Bulgarian border at its own expense. In this case, no replacement vehicle is also provided.
3.5. The lessee is fully responsible for partial defects, loss of parts or accessories, as well as damage to the interior of the vehicle (trim, dashboard, seats, luggage rack, etc.) and cargo area.
3.6. If a client happens to lose car documentation, car keys, registration plates, parking access card or front part of the stereo, he or she must pay fine of 240 euro.
3.7. In case the car has to be changed on a case that:
3.7.1. it is a client’s fault he must take all the expenses made by the owner while transporting the substitution car as well as those made for bringing back the changed car.
3.7.2 the car has to be changed and it is not a client’s fault, all repairs are covered by Dream Rent a car. The lessor takes actions for replacing the damaged vehicle in 2 (two) working days time and automatically to prolong the term of the rental with the number of the unused due to the break down days. The substitution on p. 3.7.1. and p. 3.7.2. takes place where is situated the damaged vehicle.
3.8. Insurance does not cover if the following cases occur:
3.8.1. There are damages upon tires, tire caps, chassis or windscreen wipers of the vehicle.
3.8.2. There are damages on the engine of the vehicle that are not a result of unaffected exploitation, but are caused by negligence.
3.8.3. The car is being driven after having alcohol or any other drug consistent substances.
3.8.4. There are damages caused to the vehicle because of off-road driving
3.8.5. There are damages caused by unauthorized in the rental contract driver.
3.8.6. There are damages caused by overloading the vehicle and/or exceeding the quota of the seats inside.
3.8.7. In case the rented car is stolen or unlawfully taken away with the documents of the car: registration certificate-second part, insurance policy 'civil liability', control card Civil liability, auto-assistance card, coupon for yearly technical inspection, fully described by above, and the car keys are not handed over to the landlord, the client bears a liability in the amount of the insurance value of the car within 10 (ten) calendar days from the establishment of the absence of the car.
3.8.8. In case of theft or total damage, the Lessee is obliged to provide to the Lessor all issued documents from the Traffic Police, certifying the event. In case of failure to provide, the lessee bears a liability in the amount of the insured value of the car within 10 (ten) calendar days from the establishment of the lack or total damage of the vehicle.
3.8.9. The lessor does not take responsibility for bad fuel or other defects, caused by negligence. The lessee is fully responsible for the consequences.
3.8.10. ADMINISTRATIVE FEE: IN THE EVENT OF A CAR INCIDENT, THE ADMINISTRATIVE FEE OF 40 EURO SHALL BE PAID, WITHOUT ANY WITHDRAWAL OF THE INCIDENT!
If a certain damages occur the client pays their full cost, calculated by market value.
3.9. In case of found minor defects, thefts, damages or damages up to the amount of the deposit, Dream Rent a car does not undertake to bring insurance documents because of economic disadvantage and their value is entirely at the expense of the lessee.
3.10. The lessor is entitled to cover his expenses arising from the above from the value of the lessee's deposit. If the value of the deposit is insufficient, the landlord is entitled to use the lessee's credit card information to cover the amounts as described above.
3.11. The Lessor accept to pay expenses for small accessories and managing small defects only if they are made in consideration with Lessors will and is obtained an official document for the expenses with an invoice at the name of the Lessor.
4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1. A client can not use the rented vehicle for racing purposes, as well as training, pulling other vehicles, transportation of heavy and dangerous loads, unless having a written permission from the owner.
4.2. The client must take care of the levels of the oil and cooling fluid of the vehicle before start driving and during the traveling.
4.3. A client is not permitted to drive after having alcohol or any other drug consistent substances.
4.4. Giving the rented vehicle to third persons is strongly not allowed. A car is not permitted to leave the country whatsoever, unless an official power of attorney is prepared by the owner.
4.5. Lessee is responsible for all damages of the rented car or other vehicles, in case he/she have broken the rental conditions and have driven the car breaking the traffic and law rules in the country, where the car is driven.
4.6. The lessee is fully responsible for damaging or missed opportunities for third parties and the lessor , caused in case of trying or leaving the territory of Bulgaria.
5. OPTIONAL (ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT) TAXES AND SERVICES
5.1.1 Free delivery between 9:00 и 21:00h every working day (Monday-Friday) in the region of Sofia (up to 10 km) - free, Sofia Airport 10 euro, out of business hours, weekends, holidays, between 21:00-09.00h (every day, weekends) in the region of Sofia 20 euro, Sofia Airport - 25 euro.
5.1.2. Shipping a car outside Sofia is possible upon agreement and a further specified price.
5.2. Driving services within the territory of Bulgaria up to 4 hours -15 EURO, up to 8 hours driving 30 EURO + expenses. Outside Bulgaria – preliminary request and preliminary discussed prices.
5.3. One-time fee when using the car outside the country: 50 euros for one country, 50 euros for each of the following countries. Limitations are possible. A double deposit is payable.
5.4. Additional driver tax 2.00 euro per day, not more than 30 euro per rental. The maximum of the additional drivers is 3.
5.5. Young diver’s fee: 36 euro.
5.6 Administrative tax upon damage: 40 euro.
5.7 Baby seat 1 to 3 years (18 kg): 4.00 euro per day, not more than 50 euro for the rental period.
5.8 Child seat 4 to 8 years: 3.00 euro per day, not more than 50 euro for the rental period.
5.9 Snow chains: single fee 25 euro for the rental period.
5.10. GPS/Navigation: 4 euro per day, not more than 50 euro for the rental period.
5.11. Shipping a car outside Sofia is possible upon agreement and a further specified price. Sample prices:
6.TERMINATION OF THE CONTRACT
The contract can be terminated by the lessor in the following cases:
6.1. Expiring the term of the contract;
6.2. By the lessor without any notification when:
7. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS
7.1. the customer should be aware that at check –out the returned vehicle is inspected only visually with respects to obvious defect and agrees that any subsequently defect caused by him/her, that could not be found out by this return inspection will be claimed by Dream Rent a car on the basis of an independent expert opinion.
7.2. If a conflict occurs both sides try to solve the problem in a spirit of loyalty and understanding. In cases that it is impossible, competent authorities will do this.
7.3. The client must be aware that signing the contract, his personal data may be used for criminal and legal responsibility.
Not reading, not accepting or loosing the contract of the car rental conditions, and/or the car condition report does not discharge the client, and its responsibility is confirmed by signing the contract and or car condition report.
8. CANCELLATION/CHANGE CONDITIONS
8.1. A confirmed reservation can be canceled/modified up to 72 hours prior to the start of the rental period without a fee. If a reservation is canceled less than 72 hours before the start of the rental period, a fee of 15% of the final rental price will be charged, but not less than the rental price of the vehicle for 1 day. The prepaid amount will not be refunded in case the lessee fails to appear. The prepayment made on booking will be refunded if an alternative vehicle cannot be provided.
- Liability insurance valid on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria;
- Car insurance in case of damage and theft in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, in accordance with the General Conditions of the Insurer. Valid when presenting a protocol from the Traffic Police. Does not apply in violation of the Road Traffic Act and in the use of drugs, alcohol or other narcotic substances.
- Road tax - a vignette for the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria;
- Unlimited mileage per day for rentals of up to 20 days and 5000 km of monthly rentals with a duration of more than 20 days.
- All prices are final with 20% VAT included;

6.TERMINATION OF THE CONTRACT
The contract can be terminated by the lessor in the following cases:
6.1. Expiring the term of the contract;
6.2. By the lessor without any notification when:
- Time - limit for the drop off has been exceeded.
- It is impossible to reach the lessee by any means of communications more then 1 hour.
- Wrong, false or incomplete information has been found stated by the lessee.
